Constructing Sense Making Play was they key type of play that linked to future happiness. In my doctorate Mother Care and Mother Protection has a weak to moderate correlation to happiness. The strongest correlation is ‘Sense Making Constructive Play’ to overall ‘Job Satisfaction.’ The second strongest is ‘Sense Making Creative Play’ to future ‘Salary.’ This was so interesting to me as a Mum on reflection both my kids love Lego, at 4 my son had constructed complicated lego in the time my husband had taken a shower; although he does take long showers. At 5 my daughter was coding with Lego We Do, and this continues to be one of their favourite activities. I have not included all leg here, as they seriously have buckets and I am sure you are not visiting us for just Lego. Here is what they kids have thrived on in constructing play, which I have taken keen interest in especially with the results of my studies.
Lego We Do and Lego Boost actually cross over between two types of play: Constructing Play and Virtual Interactive Play computer games which had correlations to gravitas and cognitive ability.
